Unheard of Technology?

Technology is not just handheld and seen through a computer, technology is "the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science," that's from dictionary.com. So some minor technologies that are making a major difference:
1. Designer speed: Speedo introduced a new racing swimsuit this year, the LZR Racer, featuring ultrasonically bonded seams and water-repellent fabric to reduce drag.
2. Modern archery bows made from aluminum, magnesium fiberglass, and Kevlar can shoot arrows faster than 150 miles per hour with pinpoint accuracy.
Their are many more modern technologies like these that affect all Olympic games.
